PROLIFIC FILMS is a production company which qualifies for UK and regional Welsh funding;

- UK TAX CREDIT (up to 25% of qualifying production costs)

- WALES IP FUND (up to 40% gap finance with a 'sweetspot' of £200k)

- FILM AGENCY WALES (up to 50% match finance - capped at £200k)

Between 1988 and 1992 Prolific produced a trilogy of award winning shorts written and directed by Julian Richards; PIRATES, QUEEN SACRIFICE and BAD COMPANY

In 1996 Prolific developed its debut feature DARKLANDS - an occult horror starring Jon Finch and Craig Fairbrass. Released in UK by Metrodome and selling international through Jinga

In 2001 Prolific developed SILENT CRY - a conspiracy thriller starring Emily Woof, Douglas Henshall, Frank Finlay, Kevin Whately and selling international through Screen Media.

In 2003 Prolific produced THE LAST HORROR MOVIE - a psychological horror starring Kevin Howarth. Released in North America by Hart Sharp and selling international through Jinga.

In 2006 Prolific produced SUMMER SCARS - a psycho thriller starring Kevin Howarth and selling worldwide through Jinga
